Hailing from Gilroy, California, the self-proclaimed “Garlic Capital of the World,” Brian Fischer moved to Long Beach to pursue a career in filmmaking. He graduated from Cal State Long Beach in 2003 and has been working to establish himself as a filmmaker. Fischer’s first student film, L’histoire de Billy Matter, won several awards and was well-received by audiences and critics. Fellini’s Donut was made possible through the Kodak 35 mm Project.
