Thirteen is not an easy age for shy Alicia. Her only friend, Michelle, is a sex-obsessed flake and her single dad would rather pick his toes than talk to her. To make matters worse, boys have been chasing her after school, a cutie in seventh grade science won't leave her alone, and the older boy from down the street is knocking at the door.
