The quickly changing attitudes of a little girl are documented in Jay Rosenblatt's delightful short I'm Charlie Chaplin. Ella, the filmmaker's daughter, thinks Chaplin is the funniest character around. She dresses up like him one Halloween and comes home with a massive haul of candy. One year later, Ella dresses up like Chaplin again, but now she doesn't like the tie and thinks that maybe she'd like to be a ghost instead. "Why?" asks her mother. "Stop talking," says Ella.
