A part-time electronics store clerk resides in the basement of his mother's house and does practically nothing at all but listen to and fantasize about the world of talk radio. In the world of talk radio, he is a god among men. But at his Saturday-only job as an electronics clerk, things are a little different. Shot on anamorphic 35 mm, Longtime Listener explores the world of talk radio and the reclusive characters it can attract.
