Tribeca Talks: Directors Series - Jon Favreau with Scarlett Johansson

Filmmaker Jon Favreau will talk to actress Scarlett Johansson about his distinguished and diverse career as a director, successful across both indie and blockbuster franchises, ranging from the indie hit Swingers to the blockbuster Iron Man series. He will also discuss his initiation into virtual reality with Gnomes & Goblins and the landmark live action effort, The Jungle Book, truly embodying the spirit of a director who knows no bounds.

Jon Favreau

Jon Favreau is an actor, writer, producer and director. He most recently directed and produced Disney’s The Jungle Book, and created the virtual reality experience, Gnomes & Goblins. His directing credits include Iron Man and Iron Man 2, Chef, Cowboys & Aliens, Elf, and Zathura: A Space Adventure. He served as an executive producer on Iron Man 3, The Avengers, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. As an actor, Jon appeared in Swingers, which he also wrote, Wolf of Wall Street, and all three Iron Man films. Jon also executive produced and hosted IFC’s Emmy nominated Dinner For Five.
