Future of Film – The Art of Adaptation

Tribeca Talks
| 60 MINUTES
Adaptation is a foundational arm of storytelling, breathing new life into an existing tale. It’s also one of the most complex and difficult tasks to do well; many try and few succeed. This conversation will center on new how new technology informs the process of adaptation: what considerations and approaches do these artists take to bring their adapted stories into Virtual Reality? Join Doctor Who: The Runaway creator Mathias Chelebourgh, who brought the beloved BBC series to Virtual Reality, along with Pete Billington and Jessica Shamash, who’ve adapted Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean’s work into the immersive story, Wolves in the Walls: It’s All Over.
