After the death of his beloved wife, JOHN WICK (Keanu Reeves) spends his days restoring his 1969 Ford Mustang with his only companion, a loyal beagle named Daisy. John’s days pass without incident until he meets a sadistic thug, IOSEF TARASOF, who wants the restored car that John refuses to sell. Unable to take no for an answer, Iosef and his two friends break into John’s home to steal the Mustang, leaving Daisy mortally wounded. Before John met his wife, he was a remorseless hit man and his cherished dog was the only thing that kept him human after her death. The loss of Daisy, his wife’s final gift to him, awakens the sleeping assassin, and John sets out to exact his revenge.
