Cory Barlog

Cory Barlog is the Creative Director at Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Santa Monica Studio. He is most known for his work on the critically acclaimed video game series, God of War, playing an instrumental role in shaping the franchise into what it is today since the original God of War (2005). Cory is currently developing the next installment of the series, God of War (2018), which is set to release on April 20, 2018 exclusively for PlayStation 4.

As the lead writer on several titles including God of War 2, God of War 3, and the upcoming PS4 release, Cory exudes the passion it takes to craft an exceptional game. Over the span of his career, he also has served in a variety of roles including Game Director and Lead Animator.
